EU fintech giant Revolut has chosen Polygon as its primary technology stack for stablecoin transfers, payments, and trading, marking a significant integration for Polygon's network. This collaboration allows Revolut's 65 million users to send and receive money via Polygon's infrastructure seamlessly, avoiding high fees and border restrictions, with native on- and off-ramps built into the app. The partnership already saw Revolut users process over $690 million in volume on Polygon by November. Future integrations will unlock easier stablecoin transfers (USDC and USDT), in-app crypto card payments, and POL token staking, with gas costs covered for eligible transfers, resulting in free transfers for users. This announcement follows Mastercard's own integration with Polygon to power its Crypto Credential identity solution.
