Revolut, the European fintech giant with over 65 million users, has partnered with Polygon Labs to allow customers in the UK and non-EU EEA countries to conduct crypto remittances using USDC, USDT, and POL via the Polygon blockchain within the Revolut app. This builds upon an earlier integration from December 2024, which has already processed over $690 million in Polygon-based transactions, noted for near-instant transfers and minimal gas fees. A Revolut spokesperson confirmed that this launch marks the first time users can send and receive USDC and USDT on Polygon within the app. Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron highlighted this as achieving real-world utility by making blockchain payments seamless and cost-efficient for everyday users, positioning Polygon as global financial infrastructure.
