Web3 AI Platform Offers Bounty and Token Buyback After $10 Million Hack

Astra Nova, an AI-powered entertainment platform, confirmed a security breach resulting in the loss of over $10 million worth of its newly launched RVV token, attributed to a compromised account of a third-party market maker. Blockchain analyst EmberCN estimated the loss at $10.3 million, involving 860 million RVV tokens (8.6% of the total supply) exchanged for USDT. The subsequent sell-off caused the RVV price to drop over 50%. Despite skepticism from the analyst regarding the attacker's behavior (transferring funds to CEXs), Astra Nova maintained it was an external compromise. In response, the project announced plans to repurchase the affected tokens to stabilize liquidity and offered a 10% bounty for the return of the stolen assets, promising no legal action if the full amount is returned.
