Solana decentralized exchange aggregator Jupiter has launched Ultra v3, positioning it as the most advanced end-to-end trading engine available. This new version promises significant improvements, including 34x better sandwich protection, industry-leading slippage performance, and up to 10 times lower execution fees. A key addition is Iris, a new meta aggregator router that finds optimal pricing across platforms like JupiterZ, DFlow, Hashflow, and OKX; JupiterZ, an exclusive RFQ system with zero slippage, will only be accessible via Ultra v3. The performance gains stem from an upgraded predictive execution engine that simulates trades to ensure tighter quotes and avoid slippage. Furthermore, Ultra v3 incorporates ShadowLane, an in-house transaction landing engine for sub-second, private execution, and offers improved protection against Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) attacks by preventing order flow from being handed off to external providers. Finally, the Gasless Support feature is extended, allowing users to pay for network fees using tokens involved in the swap, now supporting Token-2022 and memecoin pairs with a reduced minimum trade size of $10.
