iTrustCapital, a major provider of self-directed digital asset IRA services, has integrated with Coinbase Asset Management (CBAM) to allow Accredited Investors in CBAM-managed fund strategies to hold their participations in tax-deferred IRA accounts. This partnership will debut with a CBAM-managed Bitcoin yield strategy designed to outperform Bitcoin's beta return by delivering additional yield. This move follows an Executive Order aimed at bringing actively managed crypto strategies into retirement accounts. The integration, expected in Q4 2025 or early Q1 2026, allows eligible iTrustCapital clients to subscribe to the yield opportunity, with participations custodied tax-free within their IRA accounts to compound their Bitcoin holdings for retirement savings.
