Uniswap’s web app starts support for Solana

Decentralized exchange Uniswap has integrated Solana support into its web application, allowing users to connect their Solana wallets and swap SOL tokens directly, eliminating the need to leave the app for Solana trades. Uniswap aims to reduce fragmentation in DeFi caused by separate Ethereum and Solana ecosystems, which it states adds friction for users. This launch is the first phase of integration, with future steps planned to include bridging, cross-chain swaps, and full Uniswap Wallet support. Solana remains a significant DeFi player, known for its speed and low costs, holding over $10.9 billion in total value locked as of October 2025.
