Bankr has committed to reimbursing all affected users for their losses. The company is advising users to stop sending funds to compromised addresses, create new seed phrases, and check their devices for malware. This incident occurs during a difficult period for the crypto industry, with DefiLlama reporting 14 major hacks in May alone and total industry losses exceeding $800 million for 2026.
