Upshift has introduced a new platform called Upshift Clear, designed to eliminate the settlement gap in tokenized real-world assets (RWA). By applying bridging capital logic onchain, the platform provides USDC-backed instant liquidity to RWA holders, allowing for T+0 settlement regardless of banking hours. The system enables liquidity providers to earn fees from redemption premiums while the underlying settlement with the RWA issuer processes in the background. Initially launching with support for Superstate's USCC fund, the platform is designed to be generalized for any RWA with a standard redemption mechanism.
