Cardano Foundation publishes DARTE Paris 2.0 report on EU digital asset regulation

The Cardano Foundation's DARTE Paris 2.0 report addresses the growing disconnect between written EU digital asset regulations and their practical application across member states. The document, which emerged from roundtable discussions, identifies significant regulatory friction regarding MiCAR, DORA, and the EU's updated Anti-Money Laundering framework.

The report warns that inconsistent enforcement across different national regulators creates a fragmented landscape that could hinder Europe's digital asset competitiveness. Furthermore, the Cardano Foundation is using these insights to position its blockchain infrastructure as a solution for regulatory compliance, specifically proposing its use for verifying environmental data via Digital Product Passports.
