Super Micro Computer projects FY26 net sales of $38.9-40.4B, names Vik Malyala chief business officer

Super Micro Computer has announced its financial projections for fiscal year 2026, expecting net sales to range between $38.9 billion and $40.4 billion. This guidance was released concurrently with the appointment of Vik Malyala as the company's new Chief Business Officer. The company reported strong performance in its third quarter of fiscal year 2026, with net sales reaching $10.2 billion, a 100% increase year-over-year, and net income growing over 200% to $483 million. However, this Q3 figure represented a sequential dip from Q2 FY26 sales of $12.68 billion. The projected full-year guidance of $38.9–40.4 billion aims to provide a stable outlook, despite an implied sequential decline in Q4 revenue based on the midpoint of the guidance and previously reported/guided sales. This comes as competitors like Dell Technologies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise are also increasing their focus on the AI server market.
