British sprinter CJ Ujah, who previously served a 22-month doping ban related to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, has been charged in the UK as part of a cryptocurrency fraud investigation. Ujah, along with nine other suspects, is accused of defrauding victims by impersonating police officers and company representatives to obtain their wallet seed phrases. One victim reportedly lost over £300,000. The charges stem from raids across Kent, Essex, and London. Ujah was granted bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on May 28th. Another British athlete, Brandon Mingeli, has also been charged in the same investigation.
