Wormhole Labs has officially bridged Bittensor’s native TAO token to the Solana blockchain using its Sunrise platform. This integration allows TAO to be traded natively on major Solana DeFi platforms like Jupiter and Meteora, as well as within Phantom and Solflare wallets. Unlike traditional wrapped tokens, Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers system locks or burns tokens on the source chain to mint them on Solana, ensuring they retain metadata and official canonical status. This development supports Solana's goal of making globally significant assets accessible within its ecosystem.
