Lydian Launches Visa Platinum Crypto Card to Enable Everyday Spending of Digital Assets

Lydian has launched the Lydian Card, a new Visa Platinum card issued in partnership with Rain that allows users to spend more than 300 digital assets, including stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies. Available in physical and virtual formats, the card utilizes Visa's global network to reach over 150 million merchants, aiming to streamline the conversion of digital holdings into everyday purchasing power.

Built on Rain’s stablecoin-native infrastructure, the initiative addresses common barriers such as manual token conversion and limited merchant acceptance. Executives note that as monthly crypto card spending grows into the billions, this partnership seeks to reduce transaction friction and accelerate the mainstream adoption of digital assets in daily commerce.
