Strategy has continued its aggressive Bitcoin acquisition strategy, purchasing 13,927 BTC for approximately $1 billion at an average price of $71,902 per coin. This transaction, disclosed in a recent SEC filing, increases the company's total holdings to 780,897 BTC. The purchase was funded through an at-the-market stock offering program, specifically leveraging the company's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC). While other corporations have recently scaled back their digital asset holdings, Strategy remains the dominant force in corporate Bitcoin accumulation, targeting a goal of 1 million BTC despite reporting significant unrealized losses on its portfolio earlier in the year.
