Mixero has introduced Ricochet, a privacy feature designed to counter blockchain analytics by routing Bitcoin transactions through a series of randomized, intermediary wallet addresses. Unlike CoinJoin, which mixes transactions from multiple users, Ricochet obfuscates the path between the sender and recipient by increasing the number of hops and introducing variable timing delays. This approach, combined with a no-logs policy, makes it significantly harder for third parties to map transaction histories or link on-chain activity to real-world identities on the public Bitcoin ledger.
