Crypto's 'AWS' Alchemy unveils tool to make AI payment systems talk to each other

Blockchain infrastructure provider Alchemy has introduced AgentPay, a translation layer designed to bridge the gap between fragmented AI payment systems. As various firms like Coinbase, Stripe, and Visa develop their own agentic payment protocols, merchants have faced the burden of building separate integrations for each one. AgentPay simplifies this by providing a single endpoint, allowing merchants to accept payments from any supported protocol without Alchemy taking custody of the funds. The tool supports multiple protocols including x402, MPP, and A2P, aiming to standardize transactions in the rapidly growing field of agentic finance.
