Fox to integrate Kalshi data in news broadcasts, sports ‘maybe’ in the future

Fox Corporation has partnered with Kalshi to integrate prediction market data across its news networks, including Fox News, Fox Business Network, and Fox Weather, as well as the Fox One platform. This deal expands Kalshi's partnerships with news organizations, following similar agreements with CNN and CNBC. While sports data is not initially included, a Kalshi spokesperson indicated it might be incorporated in the future. The partnership comes amid legal challenges for prediction markets in several states, some of which aim to prohibit sports-related contracts. Kalshi, which asserts its status as a federally regulated commodities exchange, recently secured a legal victory in New Jersey regarding sports event contracts, though a Nevada judge issued an injunction against offering such contracts without a gaming license. Fox aims to use Kalshi's real-time data to provide audiences with deeper insights and more engaging content.
