Chainalysis has introduced specialized, autonomous blockchain intelligence agents designed to help organizations like law enforcement and compliance teams more efficiently investigate and combat illicit activity on blockchains. These agents are trained on Chainalysis' proprietary dataset, which includes billions of screened transactions and over ten million investigations spanning more than a decade. CEO Jonathan Levin stated these agents are an evolution of the platform, designed to work alongside human teams. The bots can operate using deterministic workflows or an exploratory mode, both generating audit trails to meet legal standards; Chainalysis notes its data is the only onchain analysis data ruled reliable and admissible in court. The firm plans to roll out these tools starting this summer, noting that as bad actors leverage AI, defenders must do the same.
