Interactive Brokers (IBKR) has launched cryptocurrency trading in the European Economic Area (EEA) through its integration with Zero Hash. This allows eligible individual investors in the region to trade 11 cryptocurrencies – BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, LINK, SOL, ADA, XRP, DOGE, AVAX, and SUI – alongside traditional financial instruments. The service is available via Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited and is accessible through various platforms including Trader Workstation and IBKR Mobile. According to CEO Milan Galik, this integration aims to help clients manage their portfolios more efficiently by providing a unified platform for both digital and traditional assets. Interactive Brokers already offers crypto trading in the US and the UK.
