The Ethereum Foundation recently staked $46 million worth of ether (ETH), marking the largest daily amount ever staked by the foundation. According to Arkham Intelligence data, 22,517 ETH was transferred to an ETH2 Beacon Deposit Contract on Monday. This move aligns with the foundation’s 2025 treasury policy to actively deploy assets for returns, aiming to fund core operations and ecosystem development. While the foundation increases its staking, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin sold approximately 17,196 ETH in February to fund open-source software and hardware development. Ethereum’s price rose by 2% in the last 24 hours, reaching $2,045.
