Franklin Templeton Partners With Ondo to Bring 5 Tokenized ETFs On-Chain

Franklin Templeton, a major asset manager overseeing $1.7 trillion, has collaborated with Ondo Finance to bring five of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) onto the blockchain through Ondo Global Markets. This tokenization allows for round-the-clock trading outside traditional market hours, offering exposure to US equities, fixed income, and gold. The five tokenized ETFs include the Franklin Focused Growth ETF, Franklin Income Equity Focus ETF, Franklin High Yield Corporate ETF, Franklin Responsibly Sourced Gold ETF, and Franklin US Large Cap Multifactor Index ETF. The initial rollout targets regions outside the US, such as Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America, as a US launch awaits regulatory clarity. Ondo Finance currently holds a dominant market share in tokenized equities, and the announcement positively impacted the ONDO token price.
