This investor originally acquired 172,700 ETH about ten years ago for roughly $2.2 million, meaning the current sale represents a significant profit, although they still retain 14,814 ETH. Separately, another whale sold 5,000 ETH ($10.3 million) to partially repay a loan on Aave but still holds about 126,000 ETH. At the time of the report, Ethereum was trading around $2,051, down 1.6% over 24 hours.
