Coinbase launches stock perpetual futures for ‘Magnificent 7’ names, including Apple, Tesla and Nvidia, expanding ‘everything exchange’ push

Coinbase has introduced stock perpetual futures for eligible traders outside the U.S., allowing round-the-clock, leveraged trading in synthetic positions tied to selected U.S. stocks and ETFs. This move advances Coinbase's strategy to become an "everything exchange" by offering crypto, traditional finance, and emerging markets in one venue. Initially, the offering includes futures for 'Magnificent 7' stocks like Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia, along with ETF products, offering up to 10x leverage on stocks and 20x on ETFs, settled in USDC. The product builds upon Coinbase's recent derivatives expansion in Europe and is accessible via Coinbase Advanced and Coinbase International Exchange, though it is unavailable to U.S. users.
