Crypto Funds Add $1B as Bitcoin and Ethereum Lead Gains
Summary
Crypto investment products recorded $1.06 billion in inflows last week, with Bitcoin products leading with $793 million, extending a positive streak to three weeks totaling $2.7 billion. CoinShares' head of research, James Butterfill, noted this momentum underscores digital assets' resilience as a relative safe haven amid geopolitical stress, with total assets under management in digital asset ETPs rising 9.4% since the Iran crisis began. Ethereum ETPs saw $315 million in inflows last week, nearly neutralizing year-to-date outflows, partly due to new staking ETF listings in the US. However, XRP suffered $76 million in outflows. The majority of Bitcoin inflows were driven by US spot Bitcoin ETFs, which saw their first five-day inflow streak of 2026, attracting $767.3 million, though they remain at approximately $493 million in net outflows year-to-date.
