Donald Trump is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at an exclusive event in Florida for the top 297 holders of the TRUMP memecoin, offering them access to a luncheon at his Mar-a-Lago residence on April 25th. This event comes as the token has recently hit an all-time low, though it experienced a slight increase following the announcement. Eligibility is based on time-weighted holdings between March 12th and April 10th, and attendees must pass a background check. The top 29 holders will also receive a private reception with Trump. This is the second such event, following a similar gathering at a Trump golf club last year, which drew criticism for potentially leveraging his position for personal financial gain. The TRUMP token briefly rose to $3.06 upon the gala announcement, recovering from a low of $2.73, but remains down 96% from its peak in January 2025.
