ZachXBT alleges Axiom employee conducted insider trading

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT alleged that Broox Bauer, a senior business development employee at onchain trading platform Axiom Exchange, abused internal access to user data, including linked wallet addresses, to track private wallets. This data was allegedly shared with a small group to map trades of prominent crypto influencers, potentially enabling them to trade memecoins using inside information before public promotion. ZachXBT shared audio clips where a person identified as Bauer allegedly detailed tracking users and monitoring accumulation patterns. Axiom responded by stating they were "shocked and disappointed," had removed the employee's access, and were investigating. While ZachXBT mapped related wallets, he noted that confirming high-confidence insider trading requires internal logs, not just onchain data. The claims surfaced as a Polymarket prediction bet shifted significantly toward Axiom being the subject of an ongoing scrutiny of trading practices.
