Ethereum (ETH) Gains 5% While Large Holders Split Between Selling and Buying

Ethereum's price increased by nearly 5% over 24 hours, trading at $1,916, even as on-chain data reveals a split among major holders. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has continued selling, having recently offloaded another 675.88 ETH, contributing to his total sales of 11,422 ETH in the past month. Conversely, other entities are accumulating; for instance, FG Nexus transferred 7,550 ETH to Galaxy Digital, following a previous accumulation phase. Institutional holder BitMine also recently acquired over 51,000 ETH despite holding significant unrealized losses. Analysts suggest that while ETH shows signs of a bounce, it must reclaim the $2,000 level to sustain bullish momentum, otherwise the recent gains could be retraced.
