TrackTrace enhances supply-chain visibility by tracking goods and recording essential product data, including emissions information, creating verifiable audit trails for sustainability, durability, and reparability. The solution incorporates agentic AI to automate compliance reporting workflows. This launch is a direct response to the EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR), which took effect on July 18, 2024, establishing frameworks for DPPs to standardize product information sharing across supply chains.
The platform integrates The Hashgraph Group’s existing decentralized identity solution, IDTrust, to anchor tamper-proof digital records and business processes onto the Hedera network. The Hashgraph Group is collaborating with PwC on DPP implementations, emphasizing that TrackTrace supports traceability across a product's lifecycle to help businesses targeting EU markets achieve compliance with the ESPR, which will see major milestones like the battery passport requirement starting in February 2027.
