Bitmine ups Ethereum treasury stake to 4.42 million ETH, now holds 3.66% of supply

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has increased its Ethereum treasury to 4.42 million ETH as of February 22, giving it control over 3.66% of the total ether supply. Valued at approximately $8.7 billion based on an ETH price of $1,958, Bitmine is now the largest corporate ether holder globally. Chairman Tom Lee stated the company views the current pullback as attractive, citing strengthening fundamentals like Wall Street tokenization, AI applications on smart blockchains, and the creator economy's shift to blockchain verification as key drivers for continued accumulation. The company currently has 3,040,483 ETH staked, generating $171 million in annualized revenue, and projects this could reach $249 million when its entire position is staked through its planned MAVAN infrastructure platform.
