Grayscale debuts SUI Staking ETF on NYSE
Summary
Grayscale Investments has launched the Grayscale Sui Staking ETF (GSUI) on NYSE Arca, providing investors with a regulated way to gain exposure to SUI, the native token of the Sui Network, while aiming to generate returns through network staking. The passive fund tracks the value of SUI, including staking earnings once eligibility is met. Grayscale is charging an annual management fee of 0.35%, which will be waived for the first three months or until the fund reaches $1 billion in assets under management. Krista Lynch of Grayscale stated the launch is a milestone for exchange-traded access to the Sui ecosystem. Adeniyi Abiodun of Mysten Labs noted that the launch reinforces Sui's traction among institutional players due to its scalable infrastructure. The Sui network uses a delegated proof-of-stake system, with historical yields ranging between 1.7% and 1.9% annually after fees.
