Aave labs proposes ‘Aave Will Win’ plan to send 100% of product revenue to DAO

Aave Labs introduced a governance proposal named “Aave Will Win” aimed at formalizing the future development of the lending protocol around its upcoming V4 upgrade. If approved, the plan mandates that 100% of revenue generated by products built by Aave Labs—including institutional offerings and enterprise tools—will flow directly to the community-controlled Aave DAO treasury, rather than to the development company itself. Founder Stani Kulechov stated this framework positions Aave to capture major growth markets. The proposal comes amid internal discord regarding the control of the protocol's brand assets between the DAO and Aave Labs. Central to the plan is Aave V4, designed for faster, more flexible expansion, and the potential for launching specialized markets. The framework also includes creating a foundation to hold Aave's intellectual property and trademarks.
