Bitget, a leading Universal Exchange (UEX), partnered with blockchain security firm BlockSec to release "The UEX Security Standard: From Proof to Protection." This joint report details a system-level security framework designed for exchanges that integrate crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional financial markets within unified account structures. The standard addresses new risks arising from unified margin systems and cross-market access by focusing on continuous, verifiable resilience rather than isolated controls. It defines five core benchmarks: verifiable solvency, multi-asset risk isolation, data security, AI-driven monitoring, and resilient infrastructure defense. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that security must operate at the system level, while BlockSec Co-founder Yajin Zhou noted that UEX requires a unified, verifiable security framework to protect multi-asset trading at scale.
