Executive Chairman Tom Lee stated the purchase occurred while ETH's price was significantly below its 2025 peak, viewing the pullback as attractive given strengthening network fundamentals like record daily transactions and active addresses. Lee cited historical patterns, expecting a V-shaped recovery for ETH in 2026.
Beyond its ETH, BitMine reported total crypto, cash, and other holdings valued at $10 billion, including 193 bitcoin and stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. Approximately 67% of its ETH holdings ($6.2 billion) are staked, generating $202 million in annualized revenue. The company anticipates staking rewards could reach $374 million annually once its MAVAN network launches in Q1 2026.
