Spot bitcoin ETFs register second consecutive day of outflows totaling $545 million
Summary
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $544.94 million on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive day of withdrawals, bringing the two-day total to $816.96 million. BlackRock's IBIT led the outflows with $373.44 million, followed by Fidelity's FBTC and Grayscale's GBTC. This selling pressure coincided with bitcoin falling below $71,000 amid broader market risk-off sentiment. Despite these recent outflows, the funds have accumulated $54.75 billion in total net inflows since their launch, with their aggregate assets representing 6.36% of bitcoin's total market capitalization. Outflow pressure also affected other digital asset products, as U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs posted $79.48 million in net outflows, while spot XRP ETFs saw a net inflow of $4.83 million.
