WisdomTree reports $2.24 billion crypto AUM as CEO says tokenization adds ‘momentum today while still early’
Summary
Asset manager WisdomTree reported total assets under management (AUM) of $144.5 billion at the end of the last year, marking a 5.3% quarter-over-quarter increase. Crypto assets under management specifically stood at $2.24 billion by the end of Q4, up from $1.9 billion in Q4 2024, despite a sequential drop from the start of the quarter. CEO Jonathan Steinberg stated that emerging initiatives like tokenized assets and private markets are now "real businesses contributing to momentum today while still early in their growth." WisdomTree is actively expanding its blockchain presence, launching dozens of investment funds on chains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Optimism, Stellar, and Solana, including a tokenized version of its U.S. debt money market fund. The firm recently extended its full suite of onchain funds to Solana and manages about $780 million across its onchain deployments.
