Atkins, who took office in April 2025, has focused on engaging with the crypto industry, notably launching "Project Crypto" to develop regulatory frameworks for tokenized assets and DeFi. His appearance follows a trend of increased government presence at these events, including speeches by Donald Trump and J.D. Vance at prior conferences.
