Ark Invest bought $21.5 million of COIN, CRCL, BLSH stock as bitcoin fell under $90,000

Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, executed $21.5 million worth of stock purchases in Coinbase (COIN), Circle Internet (CRCL), and Bullish (BLSH) on Friday, marking their first buys of these three companies since mid-December. These acquisitions were spread across their Innovation (ARKK) and Blockchain and Fintech Innovation (ARKF) ETFs. Specifically, Ark added 129,446 shares of Circle for $9.2 million, 42,179 shares of Coinbase for $9.15 million, and 88,533 shares of Bullish for $3.17 million. The purchases occurred as the broader crypto market turned bearish, with Bitcoin falling below the $90,000 mark and experiencing a nearly 6% drop over the week, aligning with Ark's strategy of buying during equity price dips.
