dYdX Announces New Affiliate Booster Program and Upgraded Commission Structure

dYdX has introduced two significant updates to its affiliate program: the first Affiliate Booster Program for January-February 2026, featuring a $100,000 USDC rewards pool distributed proportionally based on referred trading volume (excluding BTC) and onboarding at least five new users. Simultaneously, dYdX rolled out a new, live sliding affiliate fee structure, replacing the old static VIP tiers after the v9.4 software upgrade. This new model starts affiliates at a baseline 30% commission on taker fees, scaling up to 50% based on trailing 30-day referred trading volume, with tiers set at $1M and $10M volume thresholds. Participation is subject to geographical restrictions, excluding regions like the U.S., UK, and Canada.
