Chainalysis Launches No-code Tool for Onchain Investigations

Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis has introduced Workflows, a new automation feature intended to democratize onchain investigative and compliance tools by eliminating the need for coding expertise like custom SQL or Python queries. This tool uses prebuilt templates to standardize common investigative processes, allowing any user to run complex analyses in minutes by answering investigation-level questions rather than dealing with data schemas. Chainalysis notes that this scalability is crucial as illicit actors, such as those behind AI-enabled scams, rapidly adopt new technologies. A recent Chainalysis report estimated that crypto scams and fraud cost victims about $17 billion in 2025, driven by industrialization, impersonation schemes, and AI use, underscoring the need for more accessible and scalable monitoring tools for investigators.
