Critical tokenization infrastructure provider Alpaca raises $150 million Series D, pusing valuation to $1.15 billion

The funding round was led by Drive Capital and included participation from Citadel Securities, Opera Tech Ventures (BNP Paribas's VC wing), DRW Venture Capital, Bank Muscat, and Kraken, among others, with Revolut CTO Vlad Yatsenko also investing as an angel. Alpaca powers 94% of all tokenized U.S. equities and ETFs for about 300 organizations, including Kraken. CEO Yoshi Yokokawa stated the capital will fuel expansion of their mission to democratize financial services. The company has recently expanded its product suite to include multi-leg options, securities lending, fixed-income, and 24/5 stock trading, and launched its Instant Tokenization Network.
