AlphaTON expands exposure to decentralized Telegram-based Cocoon AI with NVIDIA deal

AlphaTON Capital Corp, the TON token treasury, has secured a $46 million compute infrastructure deal to expand its capacity for the decentralized, Telegram-native Cocoon AI network. This deal involves acquiring 576 NVIDIA B300 chips, marking AlphaTON's first large-scale confidential compute deployment, scheduled for delivery in February. The financing structure includes $4 million in cash, $32.7 million in non-recourse debt financing, and $9.3 million in equity installments. Cocoon, built on the TON blockchain, is Telegram's Confidential Compute Open Network, designed to offer privacy-preserving AI computation, potentially leveraging Telegram's billion monthly active users. AlphaTON's CIO, Enzo Villani, stated that this acquisition de-risks their capital structure and positions them offensively for the AI infrastructure supercycle. This expansion follows AlphaTON's previous filings and fundraising efforts aimed at investing in TON initiatives.
