BitMine's Total Staked ETH Holdings Surpass 1 Million

Crypto treasury company BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) recently staked an additional 86,400 Ether (ETH), bringing its total staked holdings to 1,080,512 ETH, valued around $268.7 million. This staking activity generates an estimated $94.4 million annually in yield based on the current 2.81% rate. Analyst Nic Puckrin noted that unlike Bitcoin, staking provides cash flow, which could be advantageous during crypto downturns. Despite this milestone, BitMine's stock has significantly declined, trading at $30.06, over 80% down from its July 2025 all-time high of $161. Furthermore, Chairman Tom Lee recently proposed a 1000x increase in authorized shares, from 50 million to 50 billion, to accommodate future stock splits aimed at keeping the share price affordable around $25.
