Solana Seeker Phone Users Can Claim SKR Token on Jan. 21

Solana Mobile announced that its SKR token will launch on January 21 at 2 am UTC. Solana Seeker smartphone users are eligible to claim up to 20% of the token supply through an airdrop, marking the first step in giving users influence over the platform's success, rules, and economic flows, according to General Manager Emmett Hollyer. Users can delegate their tokens to 'Guardians' to secure the network and verify devices, earning rewards and accessing exclusive app features. The first Seeker Season concluded successfully, involving over 100,000 users, 9 million transactions, and $2.6 billion in volume. Of the 10 billion total SKR supply, 57% will be distributed on day one, with two-thirds of the initial airdrop allocation going to Seeker users and developers. Solana Mobile aims to disrupt the mobile app duopoly dominated by Apple and Google.
