Crypto ETP Inflows Hit $47B In 2025 As Altcoins Steal The Show

Global cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) attracted $47.2 billion in inflows in 2025, falling just 3% short of the $48.7 billion record set in 2024, according to CoinShares. While Bitcoin (BTC) inflows dropped significantly by 35% to about $27 billion, altcoins led the growth: Ether (ETH) ETPs saw inflows of $12.7 billion (a 138% increase), Solana (SOL) funds surged 1,000% to $3.6 billion, and XRP products rose 500% to $3.6 billion. Total global crypto ETP assets under management (AUM) increased to approximately $180 billion by late 2025. The United States attracted the majority of inflows at $47.2 billion, holding 84% of global ETP AUM, though Germany experienced the strongest growth regionally, jumping to $2.5 billion in inflows.
