Trump Media to Launch New Token With Special Benefits

Trump Media and Technology Group Corp (DJT), operator of Truth Social, announced plans to launch a new digital token in collaboration with Crypto.com, utilizing the Cronos blockchain.

Existing shareholders will receive an airdrop of one digital token for every whole share they own. These tokens will grant holders periodic rewards, such as benefits or discounts, tied to Trump Media products like Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth Predict. The company emphasized that these tokens are explicitly not securities, do not represent ownership, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes stated the goal is to reward shareholders and promote a fair market using Crypto.com's technology. Further details on the distribution schedule and benefits will be released next year, marking a high-profile integration of shareholder rewards with digital tokens in the media sector.
