Ethereum Staking Entry Queue Surpasses Exit Queue After 3 Months — What’s Next for ETH?
Summary
After three months where selling pressure from unstaking dominated, the Ethereum network shows a positive shift as the staking entry queue has surpassed the exit queue for the first time since September 10. Currently, about 745,600 ETH are waiting to enter staking, compared to 360,500 ETH waiting to exit. Analyst CryptoHuntz noted this ends the "Great Migration" that contributed to ETH's price decline from $4,800 to $3,000. Another analyst, Abdul, pointed out that the last time the entry queue exceeded the exit queue (in June), ETH's price doubled shortly after, suggesting potential recovery. Further support comes from BitMine, which holds a large ETH treasury, beginning to stake its assets. However, despite these positive on-chain signals, the total value staked remains stable, and some indicators suggest selling pressure from US investors persists, making it too early to definitively call a trend reversal.
