BitMine’s Ethereum Treasury Tops 4 Million ETH Amid Market Volatility

BitMine Immersion Technologies, the world's largest corporate holder of Ethereum, has increased its holdings to over 4 million ETH, valued around $12.1 billion, through recent aggressive accumulation, including a purchase of 98,852 ETH.

This accumulation brings the firm closer to its goal of controlling 5% of Ethereum's total supply, with its current holdings representing 3.39%. BitMine Chairman Tom Lee emphasized this milestone, stating the company is bridging Wall Street's move onto the blockchain via tokenization.

Despite this institutional conviction, Ethereum faces broader market volatility, trading near $2,993.5 at the time of writing, just above BitMine's average purchase price. However, market analysts suggest potential upside, citing bullish technical signals like a right-angled, descending, broadening wedge pattern predicting a potential target of $7,000.
