Solana AI token Ava hit by launch sniping tied to deployer: Bubblemaps
Summary
Blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps reported that a cluster of 23 wallets, strongly linked to the deployer of the Solana-based AI token Ava (AVA), accumulated approximately 40% of the token's supply immediately upon launch. These wallets exhibited coordinated behavior, including similar funding sources via Bitget and Binance, and identical timing for purchasing the token, suggesting insider coordination despite the token launching on the supposedly decentralized platform Pump.fun. Sniping refers to using bots to buy tokens instantly at launch. This concentrated ownership raises concerns about potential scams like rug pulls. The activity was uncovered using Bubblemaps' 'Time Travel' feature. Although launched in November 2024, the AVA token, which is associated with the Holoworld AI platform, has since plummeted over 96% from its January 2025 all-time high of $0.33.
