Binance names alleged fake listing agents, offers up to $5M whistleblower reward

Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange, issued a statement cracking down on unauthorized third-party involvement in its token listing process, urging projects to apply directly through official channels. The exchange identified several entities and individuals falsely claiming to be "Binance listing agents" who solicit payments for listings, including BitABC and Central Research. Binance stressed that this blacklist is not exhaustive and encouraged the community to report fraudulent activities via [email protected]. To incentivize reporting, the company pledged a reward of up to $5 million for whistleblowers who provide valid information leading to action against these fraudsters, emphasizing that they will pursue legal action against identified brokers.
