Federally chartered crypto bank Anchorage Digital has acquired the Securitize For Advisors (SFA) business unit from Securitize, bringing an RIA-focused crypto wealth management platform in-house. This acquisition formalizes an existing partnership, as Anchorage Digital Bank already custodies 99% of SFA's client assets and SFA operated on Anchorage's infrastructure. Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley stated the move combines Anchorage's regulated custody platform with SFA's technology to create a premier solution for wealth managers. The transaction allows Anchorage Digital to gain a unified platform for trading, custody, and client tools, while Securitize can concentrate on its core tokenization business. SFA, launched in 2021, has seen significant growth, with net new deposits and assets under management increasing by over 4,500% in the past year.
